Tree hierarchy: ... > Room > HVAC Component

HVAC system room components occupy the next highest position in the hierarchy below that of Room tree objects. HVAC room components can include whole systems like packaged terminal air conditioners (PTAC) or subsystems like variable air volume (VAV) boxes. Also, any individual HVAC component can be defined as a room HVAC component. This means that all HVAC components that appear in the tree hierarchy were setup to be a room component in the rooms where they exist. HVAC systems, sub-systems, and components are managed in the HVAC Manager dialog.

Selecting an individual HVAC Component from the tree object hierarchy provides context for additional options on the following pop-up menu:

SettingDescription
Delete Used to delete the HVAC component from the tree hierarchy.
Properties Opens the HVAC Manager dialog where the HVAC component properties can be viewed and modified.
